LESLIE AND AARON

Seven years ago I suffered the first of a five-year long series of accidents and injuries, all of them affecting my lower body. One by one they undermined my ability to run — something I loved with a passion — then to exercise at all, and for an 18 month period even to walk more than a few feet without excruciating pain. This resulted in weight gain — something I had been prone to since childhood. I went into a retreat, seeing no one but my family for a few years and wrote a memoir about my unusual, somewhat traumatic childhood called Love Affair. It was published in the UK in February 2010 and in the United States in January of 2011.

When I finished writing the book, I was determined to shed the excess weight and "return to the world of the living" so to speak. I turned for help with weightloss to Cura Romana, a protocol I had been introduced to some twenty years earlier by a brilliant Bavarian doctor and friend. At that time I used injections of hCG. I followed the protocol exactly as he had taught me to do but this time I used homeopathic hCG. I was overjoyed by the results. With every week that passed on Cura Romana, I felt stronger and better than I had for years. Not only did I shed the excess fat that had accumulated on my body, I experienced a deep transformation within myself on an emotional and spiritual level.

I shared all this with my youngest son, Aaron, and I began to work privately with other people who were keen to experience in their own lives the transformation — of body mind and spirit — they had witnessed in me. I wanted to see if a similar transformation might come to them as well. It did, to one person after another whom I worked with.

Aaron was intrigued by what he saw happening. The more he and I talked about it, the more sure we became that we wanted to create a way of reaching more and more people who could benefit from the Cura Romana experience. We decided to put together a website making it possible to share the Cura Romana principles and information worldwide. We shared a sense that, at this moment in history, transformation on many levels of our lives is essential if each of us is to meet the challenges of the future.

There was only one problem. Neither of us had the slightest idea how to go about this. All we knew was that we wanted to share transformational experience with others and that this was something we wanted to do together. We were determined to create Leslie Kenton's Cura Romana® all by ourselves. We knew we had to start from the ground up. We hoped that working day by day we would find our way.

Aaron, with his background in film-making and design, set about learning the technical skills he needed to create a website that would be both beautiful and functional. I researched deeply the amazing story of Cura Romana, all the controversy it had inspired, and eventually wrote a book about it, The Cura Romana Weightloss Plan. Hiccups and all, a few months later Leslie Kenton's Cura Romana® website went live.

Meanwhile, Aaron and I continued mentoring a rapidly growing number of people worldwide. I knew that I needed to learn how the protocol works for men and women of all sizes and ages. The more people we worked with, the more passionate the two of us became about what we were doing. We felt rewarded by the extent of transformation which participants reported that Cura Romana brings to their bodies, their wellbeing and their lives.

Then, two years ago, we decided we needed to make the program available to a much wider audience at a reasonable cost. After two years of hard work on both our parts our dream has become a reality in the form of this brand new website offering the Cura Romana Journey. We hope you enjoy it.
