the first time I went on it I lost 9 kilos as I was quite overweight after a second child at 40. I have managed to keep my weight within reasonable levels since. Emotionally what had been an experience of constant anxiety was replaced by calm. By the second week I had a sense of lightness, happiness and balance come into my life. Spiritually I had a greater awareness and wanted to spend time with myself, I guess getting to know the inner person. Before beginning Cura Romana I felt excited but at the same time a little anxious that it might not succeed for me. I was very motivated, however, especially when I witnessed such a marked weightloss. Sometimes I felt a little hungry but I allowed myself a large apple and orange and really savored them. My weightloss continued to make me feel elated. This brought with it a sense of confidence, satisfaction and anticipation of even better things to come in my life.
