Since Cura Romana, emotionally I have felt calmer despite some enormously demanding events in my life. I have felt more in tune with my body, I have been more aware of the link between my body and who I am at the very deepest level of my being.

Before I began Cura Romana I was anxious as to whether 'I' could do this or not. Anxious, too, that even if I lost weight could I sustain it. Yet excited about finally getting back to the person I know I am. Physically my weight loss was very fast and the lightness in my body and energy this created was astounding. Emotionally my confidence in myself was restored without even realizing that this was happening. I am told I am walking taller these days. Spiritually my sense of gratitude is blossoming daily. I completed the diet under the Kenton's supervision about 20 months ago. After cortisone treatment for asthma about ten years ago, I gained some 30 pounds, and despite various diets was unable to lose the last fifteeen. With Cura Romana I shed those persistent pounds effortlessly. More importantly, I have kept them off without being 'on a diet'. My body has truly and remarkably changed to the extent that food cravings are gone and I eat healthy foods in smaller amounts, because that satisfies my appetite, and that is what I now enjoy. In the past, I suffered fibromyalgia and other aches and pains. These are all gone. My system is so sensitized, that when I eat something not good for me I get immediate symptoms. This makes it easy to recognize and avoid such foods, not because I'm on a diet but because I know they don't agree with me. My digestive problems are also past history. I have not only lost weight, but I lost inches in precisely the places where they were unattractive. For the first time in my life I don't shrink from seeing myself in a mirror. The positive side effects of this diet were sufficiently profound, that I would agree with the reviewer who called it transformational. I am firmly convinced that the Kenton's guidance throughout the entire process was critical to the results I achieved. The daily reporting, the comments, encouragement and answers to any questions I had were not only motivational but also allowed me to understand more deeply the feedback my body was giving me. I cannot recommend more highly taking advantage of the mentorship.

Before beginning my Cura Romana Journey I was excited but not daring to hope that it would really work for me personally. I could see from the experience of others that it was genuinely effective but, of course, being at the time a pessimist, I was just bound to be the exception that proved the rule wasn't true. Still, I was hopeful enough that I was going to give it a go. In the end I lost 14 kilos. I can't recommend Cura Romana too much. It really is life-changing in so many ways. It represents freedom and the re-discovery of joy. It is a positive and very practical way to re-integrate ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually. I believe so much damage is caused by poor advice, miss-messages and commercial exploitation. Cura Romana should be on offer in every GP's surgery and Well Woman clinic in the land. For a long time I have felt a separation between mind and body. I felt that my body didn't work properly, I tried to eat healthily and lead a healthy lifestyle but something kept letting me down. It's been a long search for me to find the key. Over the years I've tried many diets. I've eaten high protein, been on a vegetarian and a vegan diet, I've fasted, I've eaten raw foods, organic foods, juice, and sprouted, I've done yoga and pilates, joined a gym. I am very happy with where Cura Romana has brought me now and with all the support given by Aaron & Leslie. I have noticed many benefits such as: increased energy; more focus; feeling healthier, and protected from picking up the sicknesses going around the office. I have better moods, I am more positive and less grumpy, I have better sleep and far more control over food which I now can choose to eat or not to eat. It has been an interesting ride.

I've learned so much on my Cura Romana Journey - mainly that how I eat has a major effect on my mood, energy levels, creativity and joy. I see now that it's always my decision and if I want to eat or drink something I do it in the clear knowledge that it will diminish my sense of wellbeing temporarily, and sometimes it might be worth it

Cura Romana was a unique experience that I would recommend to everyone. It completely transformed my life. I am free of cravings and food addictions. I have learned how to enjoy my food, and chocolate. My energy levels are much higher and I look and feel so much younger. I am more aware of everything in the world and in myself and everyone around me. Most important I am more aware of my own needs and of fulfilling them. Cura Romana has been an extraordinary journey for me, and the most amazing experience that I have ever had. I now live in bliss almost every day and I'm just happy being me.

I've been deliberately testing myself with some of the food items I used to really enjoy before undertaking Cura Roman, e.g. cheese scone, carrot cake, an occasional biscuit, 5-seed bread to name a few. I am over the moon to report that they no longer have any appeal whatsoever. I am no longer a "bread junky". After I tried the bread (which is the type of dense, real bread, full of seed that I used to really love and was convinced I would still enjoy), I threw the rest of the loaf out for the birds. And I had a bite of biscuit and threw the rest of them in the bin. It's almost unheard of for me to throw food out - 'think of the starving in Africa' is what I had drilled into me in childhood. My Cura Romana Journey really has changed my relationship to food forever and I am so happy. Also I am unable to eat the quantities that I used to eat. I am satisfied and full on a lot less. Another victory!

I have actually completed the Cura Romana program and have nothing but praise for the program and for Leslie Kenton herself. Leslie's and Aaron's methods have helped me to become more in tune with my body and the way it behaves and Leslie's guidance has identified areas that I would never have thought of (e.g. food allergies), whilst I've never been happier and more at ease with myself. And to top all this off, I still managed to lose 8 kilos and keep it off because of the methods that Leslie and Aaron use! I have learnt a lot from Leslie, she is a very knowledgable woman and one I will be forever grateful to for the gift she has given me.

Cura Romana has transformed me. It's been life changing... and I really didn't think it was possible. I had tried everything. Physically I have lost weight and gained shape and feel so much healthier. And my hot flushes that I had for at least 10 years are hardly noticeable at all now. Mentally I am more alert, get more done and cope with pressure better. Emotionally I no longer have the rollercoaster ups and downs. I feel I am in balance at last. Spiritually I've grown. Prior to my undertaking the Cura Romana program I was 42 pounds overweight and I often felt helpless and out of control, and despised myself for my lack of willpower when I was overcome by a craving for bread or pasta. Now, after losing 23 pounds and keeping it off, I feel much more respect for myself and I am proud of what I have achieved. I no longer have any food cravings, I no longer even enjoy bread and pasta, and I have absolutely no doubt that I will lose my remaining weight. Following Cura Romana was far easier than I could ever have imagined, and most importantly it's changed my relationship with food for ever. Don't take my word for it though, try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

The first three days on the Essential Spray + Food Plan were the most challenging for me with all sorts of things happening - a headache, dizziness at one stage but nothing serious. Then everything just settled down. I quickly began to notice an increased alertness. My sleep became much better and I awakened feeling more rested. I had better overall energy. By the second week I was feeling really good about the process. I was losing weight, not struggling at all with the food plan, and I was highly motivated to stick to the plan in a way I have never felt before. Emotionally I felt buoyant throughout the whole program. Physically I got better and better all the time. I am writing this from the viewpoint of an individual who has done the program twice. In my case it was a success as I lost 14 kilos the first time and a further 9 kilos the second time. My weight reduced from over 108 kilos to a more modest 85 making a total of 23 kilos lost. I am a qualified homeopath and it is for this reason that I decided to use the plan. For myself there is no doubt that this diet is effective and that the Essential Spray is safe. Doing the diet is a commitment because it is restrictive and sometimes feels that way but it is very rewarding to see the sustained downward momentum on the weighing scales every morning. The plan is not just a weight loss exercise but also seems to stimulate other areas of life including increased mental clarity and greater emotional sensitivity, both of which are useful for anyone re-evaluating their life style and wishing to initiate changes. This is the first book I have reviewed and probably will be the last one. This is one of the best treatments for obesity that I have come across in my life of 30 years of trying to lose weight, and it is the first time I have lost weight of such a significant amount - 20lbs - and without feeling hungry, tired or ratty. It has given me so much energy, and I lost weight in all the right places i.e., the inessential fat and not the essential fat, and it is permanent - on other diets, one loses essential fat and feels absolutely exhausted and it is not permanent. For me personally, it wasn't just about losing weight, but a transformation and personal growth - I learned to honor my body and respect it and not fill it with rubbish - after all would one put diesel in a Rolls Royce? Then why do we put such rubbish into our amazing and beautiful bodies? I would highly recommend it to anyone, and it is not just a diet but a treatment for obesity, that is so prevalent in our society today - this needs to be put on the NHS - it is a truly wonderful treatment and it works... without any crazy eating fads... just straight forward healthy eating. This works really well alongside Leslie & Aaron's excellent mentoring via the audios every day, if you want to lose weight, get healthy, and want to be full of energy and joie de vivre, then do this weightloss plan, you are in very safe hands. Whilst doing this plan you will also be embarking on an amazing spiritual journey.
