Cura Romana has been the most rewarding thing I've ever done for myself. Leslie and Aaron made the journey a pleasant one. It offered so much guidance, knowledge and support. This program is fantastic. I have been frightened to attempt weight loss in the past as I feared failing at it. I thought that Cura Romana seemed too good to be true but I'm so glad I followed the pull to do it. The program was easy to follow, incredibly effective, and with my new-found knowledge of the way my body works I continued to lose weight even throughout Consolidation. I loved the Consolidation program, the materials were fantastic and I refer to them on a regular basis. The recipes are great, especially the ones for linseed crackers which were a lifesaver. I still make them. My scales have now become my friends, after avoiding them the whole of my adult life. Leslie's support and all the resources she provided me with have been invaluable. Before beginning Cura Romana I felt excited but at the same time a little anxious that it might not succeed for me. I was very motivated, however, especially when I witnessed such a marked weightloss. Sometimes I felt a little hungry but I allowed myself a large apple and orange and really savored them. My weightloss continued to make me feel elated. This brought with it a sense of confidence, satisfaction and anticipation of even better things to come in my life. I felt a great sense of calmness and a desire to slow down and spend more time by myself. Physically it was a joy to feel lighter and more flexible and to have clothes feeling lose.

Before doing Cura Romana I thought I was doing everything right with my diet and exercise program. However, I was still gaining weight. I know now that I was 'way off the mark'. Only with Cura Romana was I successful in reducing my weight. However, Cura Romana offers so much more than weightloss. I have just finished the 45 day plan and I feel absolutely wonderful! I lost 31 lbs with no difficulty. I am a practicing homeopath and I fully endorse the use of the Essential Spray vs. the western medicine version. When I stumbled upon Leslie's invitation on her website to learn more about Cura Romana I was excited by the very notion of combining a way of letting go permanently of the excess weight I have been carrying for many years with reaching into the authentic core of myself to see what awaited me. I found Cura Romana at exactly the right time in my life and it has fulfilled its every promise at every level. I feel that Cura Romana is the start of the best chapter of my life so far. It has helped me come into the moment and launched me towards more fun, fitness, prosperity and love. Before beginning Cura Romana I was worried about fatigue, nausea, gauntness and my work, but I was excited about the prospect of realizing expanded beauty and vitality. The first couple of days I had an intermittent headache as my body was detoxing. I was hungry at times but able to move onwards very quickly and the hunger disappeared. After a week I realized that the program was completely transforming me on many levels. I felt confident with the program being absolutely right for me. I was emotionally calm, more tolerant of others and expanded spiritually already. In the end I lost 30 pounds and was absolutely delighted.

Your body goes through a significant amount of change in the first few days. I had a slight feeling of fuzziness, a bit like jet lag, in those first couple of days. I had no headaches which may be because I cut back on coffee and eliminated alcohol about a week before I started. After the first week I had heaps of energy and was really relaxed and focused. I became very calm, clear-thinking and happy with my life.

I've learned so much on my Cura Romana Journey - mainly that how I eat has a major effect on my mood, energy levels, creativity and joy. I am writing this from the viewpoint of an individual who has done the program twice. In my case it was a success as I lost 14 kilos the first time and a further 9 kilos the second time. My weight reduced from over 108 kilos to a more modest 85 making a total of 23 kilos lost. I am a qualified homeopath and it is for this reason that I decided to use the plan. For myself there is no doubt that this diet is effective and that the Essential Spray is safe. Doing the diet is a commitment because it is restrictive and sometimes feels that way but it is very rewarding to see the sustained downward momentum on the weighing scales every morning. The plan is not just a weight loss exercise but also seems to stimulate other areas of life including increased mental clarity and greater emotional sensitivity, both of which are useful for anyone re-evaluating their life style and wishing to initiate changes. This is the first book I have reviewed and probably will be the last one.
