The first three days on the Essential Spray + Food Plan were the most challenging for me with all sorts of things happening - a headache, dizziness at one stage but nothing serious. I have read this book and followed the Cura Romana Weight Loss Plan twice now, and I would highly recommend both. The program outlined in this book enables the body to burn off stored fat at an amazingly fast rate (on average a half pound a day for women and one pound a day for men.) More than that, however, it takes you on a journey of personal growth where you come to appreciate your body - dare I say like it? - and discover who you are at a deeper level. Enough for 2 times or 2 people!

I am on day 20 of the 21 days of the first step. Since you are supposed to take the sprays only the first 18 days, I put away my 2 little bottles this morning and realized I have a whole bottle left! I purchased them in London at Helios Pharmacy where you can by only 1 bottle. But since I live in the USA I bought the recommended 2. Just like many other reviewers I am in late 40s and have struggled with weight and tried many diets that didn't work. With 1 day left I am on track to lose 14lbs (1 stone). I could still lose another 2 stones, but already I feel like I have new clothes: after several years I can fit into clothes I have had in my closet. I was very close to an American size 14 and now I am probably a solid size 12 and occasionally a "large" 10. As far as I can remember I have never been an 8... I will try to keep to the protein and veggie diet but adding fat, which according to many books is necessary: WHY WE GET FAT: AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT by Gary Taubes is a very well known book which debunks the low fat craze that has made many of so fat. FAT: THE WEIGHT LOSS SECRET- SIMPLE ADVICE TO LOSE WEIGHT AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE by K.D. Joseph is another book, a very easy read that encourages you to add fat to your diet to loose weight, always eliminating carbs and sugar, of course. I tried this in the past but couldn't loose any weight, but if it is true that my metabolism has reset after 21 days with only 500 calories and NO fat, I might be able to join the group of people who can eat sensibly and keep loosing some weight. According to Simeon who invented the HGC diet, you can actually enjoy WINE with a meal if you stick to no carbs. And according to Joseph and the late Montignac DARK CHOCOLATE is also allowed. What helped me to not feel hungry could be the fact that I included in my daily lunch SHIRATAKI noodles which are carb free but very filling.

Cura romana changed my life

Cura romana changed my life. This was my second attempt – the first one worked really well until I had some emotional turmoil in my life and I revert back to my bad eating habits. This time was completely different because I changed my mindset. I resolved myself to the fact that ‘you are what you eat’ and now I realise what fuel my body needs and adores and I give it that. I knew it was a long term change this time and I’m happy to stay my weight has stayed at a balanced amount for the past 6 months. best diet i have tried so far

I have tried hundreds of diets over ther last few years but i can honestly say this is the easiest strict diet to stick to as you can still eat! I tried all the opti slims, cambridge, and lighter life, but with this you can eat meat, fruit and veg, and still lose the weight. I have only been doing this for 1 week so far and have lost 5lbs already! I wont lie, the first two days after your binge days were really hard as my partner was still eating normal foods. my tummy was constantly grumbling, but by day three of the hcg diet part these hunger pangs were gone and i feel fine. even the cooking smells dont bother me as much. There are a few recipies in the Cura Romana book to accompany this spray, but i found one for my kindle app called EASY HCG DIET:RECIPIES & DIET PLAN LOSE A POUND A DAY by Celeste Wilson. This has lots of different ideas to choose from so your not eating the same thing every day. you can even still have ommlette and cottage cheese!! I will keep you updated as to weather the weight loss lasts but so far i would definatly reccommend!!
