Cura Romana has brought me not only my newly discovered body shape which I had not seen for a long time (even prior to having children), it has improved my relationship with myself and my eating habits which, although healthy, had always been rather controlled yet chaotic. I feel that Cura Romana is the start of the best chapter of my life so far. It has helped me come into the moment and launched me towards more fun, fitness, prosperity and love. Before beginning Cura Romana I was worried about fatigue, nausea, gauntness and my work, but I was excited about the prospect of realizing expanded beauty and vitality. The first couple of days I had an intermittent headache as my body was detoxing. I was hungry at times but able to move onwards very quickly and the hunger disappeared. After a week I realized that the program was completely transforming me on many levels. I felt confident with the program being absolutely right for me. I was emotionally calm, more tolerant of others and expanded spiritually already. In the end I lost 30 pounds and was absolutely delighted.

Before the first week of the program ended I knew that everything was working superbly well. Physically I was feeling good as well as emotionally and I was losing weight that I had not been able to shift ever before.

On the program my skin was great. I had no adverse reactions except some initial tiredness. The hunger was never really an issue. My flow of physical energy was very good throughout. It was a time when I needed to work 13 hours a day with lots of physical work and I was fine. Occasionally I was hungry in a desiring way, but not as a sensation of lack of food. Emotionally I became very clear, not emotionally reactive, and I had an enhanced, clear perception of what my feelings were. Spiritually, because I had less to deal with physically and emotionally, I experienced a greater involvement in and gratitude for the present moment.

The instant I heard of Cura Romana I knew this was for me. It was the food program I had been waiting for. Cura Romana is not just another diet and weightloss program. I have also completed the program under Leslie's & Aaron's supervision and if you follow the methodology correctly it's a painless and effective way of losing weight in all the right places. At the same time I gained energy, a new understanding of what foods are right for me and what aren't, and a new appreciation of my body! Whilst eating much less than usual, with the Essential Spray I never felt hungry! It requires discipline but it works! And the effects are immediate and long term. And there were no negative side effects! I am not a diet person but this program felt right and I was amazed by the results. So first off - I have to say I haven't read this book. BUT I HAVE DONE THE PROGRAM! Last year I successfully did the plan under Leslie & Aaron's supervision. Leslie is a woman of the utmost integrity. The plan is much more than weight loss and it is the depth and breadth of Leslie's understanding of the areas of health, well-being and spirituality which made this plan of greater value than buying a remedy off the shelf. The plan works in a way which has to be seen to be believed - if you want to experience it, even better! Having completed the program in September I am now more in tune with my physical health than I have been for decades. I personally wouldn't have undertaken such a significant program without being coached through the process and I'm incredibly grateful to Leslie and Aaron for the superb program and support. Vitally this program is a re-education and could revolutionize the whole weightloss industry. It does require self-responsibility, but if you're up to the task you will have a renewed relationship with your body and yourself.

Leslie Kenton is a writer I trust - I have been inspired by her books for more than 20 years now. She explains quite touchingly that she has had issues around her weight since medical procedures in her teens left her with a faulty metabolism. She doesn't pretend to be a physician or a guru, but a fearlessly investigative journalist who needs help herself, so she explores the best options for health and weightloss and then writes a book about it for the rest of us. In "Cura Romana" she has found an amazing tool in the work of Dr Arthur Simeons who after many years of clinical research decided that the tendency to obesity was the product of a faulty system rather than just the result of gluttony, and worked out a program to cure it. What Leslie has done is synthesize this method, expand and bring it up to date, and, most importantly, hone the method for keeping the weight off for life. (Always the depressing issue for those of us who have yo-yo dieted for most of their adult lives.) I think this book is brilliant. The system works on everyone - me, in my 60s, now wearing size 14 jeans for the first time in 30 years, (gosh its great not to have to describe myself as a fat person anymore!) my husband, who was highly skeptical - a friend in our village who lost 2 stone in 42 days and looks wonderful, and her 30 year old son who did the same thing. Leslie Kenton's Cura Romana is much more than a diet book - it's a genuine tool for personal transformation. I'm only sorry her publisher puts a quote about it being a "craze" - it's far more important and profound than that. PS. How I wish it had been available 30 years ago!

Before I began Cura Romana I was anxious as to whether 'I' could do this or not. Anxious, too, that even if I lost weight could I sustain it. Yet excited about finally getting back to the person I know I am. Physically my weight loss was very fast and the lightness in my body and energy this created was astounding. Emotionally my confidence in myself was restored without even realizing that this was happening. I am told I am walking taller these days. Spiritually my sense of gratitude is blossoming daily. This journey with Cura Romana has been a liberating experience for me. I feel as if my emotional and physical struggles have simply fallen away from me. It is as though I am back in my 20s with energy and enthusiasm to burn. The future is again something to look forward to and to embrace with both hands.

I just could not get over the clarity that I experienced on Cura Romana. I am not sure that I have ever felt that in my entire adult life. I took to getting rid of every piece of clutter and junk I had been holding on to. I have done the program and have been amazed at the results. Initially I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true.
