Thanks to this brilliant book, I've lost 25lbs since January 16. I've bought hundreds of books from Amazon over the years and this is the first time I've been moved to review anything. I was 14st 5lbs when I started and felt tired all the time - never seemed to have any energy and my zest for life was long gone. I was skeptical when I first read about this regime - it seemed a bit too far out there. But as nothing else seemed to work, and there were so many positive reviews on Amazon already, I thought I'd give it a proper go. I'm thrilled with the results. I didn't sign up for the support program on the Cura Romana website - I did it only using the book. There's quite a lot to get your head around but once you've read it, then re-read it so you understand exactly what you've got to do, it's easy as (eating) pie. Anyway, I found the explanations of the research behind the method, what I'd be doing and how it actually works helped to motivate me. But if you do buy the book, read it thoroughly and don't be tempted to skim passages or you might miss something crucial to the whole thing working properly. The best part is that you just follow the simple instructions about how to take the Essential Spray, and what to eat, and the program does exactly what Leslie & Aaron Kenton promises. Trust the research and go for it. Honestly, it's like the fat just melts away, but in all the right places. Five weeks ago, my stomach made me look six months pregnant - it's now virtually gone. I have a waist again! The normally hardest-to-budge fat is going. More pluses: my skin is fantastic, the dryness has gone. My hair and eyes are shining, nails strong, cuticles in good condition. Some annoying ailments have cleared up, e.g. joint pains in my hips and knees, stiff ankles in the mornings and also chronic hives, brought on by the temperature change every summer/winter for the past 10 years - gone. My energy levels are terrific, I'm sleeping well and the zest for life is back. I haven't felt this good for years. How can a way of eating that makes anyone feel - and look - so full of vitality be unhealthy? I'm only half way there. At more than 12 stones, I still need to lose weight - I'm in the consolidation phase just now but planning to do another round of Cura Romana in April. But at last I feel I'm in control of my health and weight. Hope this is helpful to anyone thinking of trying it.

Cura Romana has been a journey of transformation on many levels. I lost 31 pounds, three dress sizes, and accessed a level of energy I never dreamed possible. But more importantly for me, I have reconnected with a part of me that had been buried - the part of me that is childlike, full of joy and sparkle and sheer life! I feel grounded in my body, clear in my mind and connected in my spirit. I know that I have been on far more than a weightloss program. I have been on a journey back to my authentic self. I am on my sixth day of Essential Spray + Food Plan and I am feeling great. My hunger is completely gone. The skin on my face and body feels so hydrated that I don't even need a moisturizer! I'm so amazed! Cura Romana is something so special and unique. The wonderful thing is that I don't even feel that I'm on a strict diet. I am getting more energized each day and most of the energy comes from my own inessential fat. How good can it get?

I have actually completed the Cura Romana program and have nothing but praise for the program and for Leslie Kenton herself. Leslie's and Aaron's methods have helped me to become more in tune with my body and the way it behaves and Leslie's guidance has identified areas that I would never have thought of (e.g. food allergies), whilst I've never been happier and more at ease with myself. And to top all this off, I still managed to lose 8 kilos and keep it off because of the methods that Leslie and Aaron use! I have learnt a lot from Leslie, she is a very knowledgable woman and one I will be forever grateful to for the gift she has given me.

The Kenton's are once again ahead of their time... this revolutionary eating plan will change the way people diet in the future. The book is very thorough and there is a great website to follow and keep up to date with recipes and products. I love her inspiration and she gives hope to fat middle aged woman who have had to choose between face and body! This diet stops any of the normal sagging and wrinkles from weight loss! The instant I heard of Cura Romana I knew this was for me. It was the food program I had been waiting for. Cura Romana is not just another diet and weightloss program. Before beginning my Cura Romana Journey I was excited but not daring to hope that it would really work for me personally. I could see from the experience of others that it was genuinely effective but, of course, being at the time a pessimist, I was just bound to be the exception that proved the rule wasn't true. Still, I was hopeful enough that I was going to give it a go. In the end I lost 14 kilos. I can't recommend Cura Romana too much. It really is life-changing in so many ways. It represents freedom and the re-discovery of joy. It is a positive and very practical way to re-integrate ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually. I believe so much damage is caused by poor advice, miss-messages and commercial exploitation. Cura Romana should be on offer in every GP's surgery and Well Woman clinic in the land. The word WILL spread!

Before I began Cura Romana I was anxious as to whether 'I' could do this or not. Anxious, too, that even if I lost weight could I sustain it. Yet excited about finally getting back to the person I know I am. Physically my weight loss was very fast and the lightness in my body and energy this created was astounding. Emotionally my confidence in myself was restored without even realizing that this was happening. I am told I am walking taller these days. Spiritually my sense of gratitude is blossoming daily. This journey with Cura Romana has been a liberating experience for me. I feel as if my emotional and physical struggles have simply fallen away from me. It is as though I am back in my 20s with energy and enthusiasm to burn. The future is again something to look forward to and to embrace with both hands.

I actually can't believe I'm nearly finished the programme. I want to thank you sincerely for all your encouraging words, advice and support Aaron. My life has truly changed in every way, I have reconnected with my body in the kindest of ways.

I am grateful to Leslie and Aaron for this program. It has taught me to slow down and love my body right where I am today. It has taught me that goals and focus are great, but it's important that we enjoy the process. It has taught me that food is to be enjoyed. I know how to shift any further weight that I wish to lose. Instead of ignoring the scales as I did for so many years I look forward to my daily weight because I know I am now in control of where I want to be.

If you've ever despaired of being in control of your eating habits then I cannot recommend strongly enough that you try Cura Romana. Prior to my undertaking the Cura Romana program I was 42 pounds overweight and I often felt helpless and out of control, and despised myself for my lack of willpower when I was overcome by a craving for bread or pasta. Now, after losing 23 pounds and keeping it off, I feel much more respect for myself and I am proud of what I have achieved. I no longer have any food cravings, I no longer even enjoy bread and pasta, and I have absolutely no doubt that I will lose my remaining weight. Following Cura Romana was far easier than I could ever have imagined, and most importantly it's changed my relationship with food for ever. Don't take my word for it though, try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I just could not get over the clarity that I experienced on Cura Romana. I am not sure that I have ever felt that in my entire adult life. I took to getting rid of every piece of clutter and junk I had been holding on to. It was like I couldn't let go and now it's a clean slate, a new chapter in my life, emotionally as well as physically and I am never going back. I am happier than I have been for years. I have a calmness and a stillness that I don't think I ever experienced before. Emotional baggage that I was harbouring and carrying around is just leaving me. Before doing Cura Romana I thought I was doing everything right with my diet and exercise program. However, I was still gaining weight. I know now that I was 'way off the mark'. Only with Cura Romana was I successful in reducing my weight. However, Cura Romana offers so much more than weightloss. It took me a week before I started to relax into the plan and trust it. It was a very intense experience for me physically and emotionally. This is the easiest and most rewarding weight loss plan I have ever followed and it is also the only time I believe that I can permanently maintain this weight. The rapid weight loss using the Essential Spray is great and I didn't feel hungry at all. This made it very easy to follow the plan. The kenton's coaching also really helped when I had questions or things that needed refining during the program. Over the whole 45 days of the program, I lost 13.3 kilos and a total of 95cms. I love my new body, new way of eating, and new way of being. The benefits of this program are physical, emotional and spiritual and I highly recommend it to anyone who has struggled with weight long-term as I had.

Before beginning Cura Romana I was excited. I had some trepidation, too, as I'd been on many diet plans without long-term success. I was hungry the first week and then at odd moments throughout the program but I made myself drink more herbal tea, meditate, garden etc, and the hunger was managed. Two weeks into the program I felt an absolute knowing that this program would work. My body enjoyed the holiday. I felt extremely focused and self-empowered. I gained more confidence. I kept thanking my body for all that it's done for me in the last 55 years.

Your body goes through a significant amount of change in the first few days. I had a slight feeling of fuzziness, a bit like jet lag, in those first couple of days. I had no headaches which may be because I cut back on coffee and eliminated alcohol about a week before I started. After the first week I had heaps of energy and was really relaxed and focused. I became very calm, clear-thinking and happy with my life.
