So first off - I have to say I haven't read this book. BUT I HAVE DONE THE PROGRAM! Last year I successfully did the plan under Leslie & Aaron's supervision. Leslie is a woman of the utmost integrity. The plan is much more than weight loss and it is the depth and breadth of Leslie's understanding of the areas of health, well-being and spirituality which made this plan of greater value than buying a remedy off the shelf. The plan works in a way which has to be seen to be believed - if you want to experience it, even better! Having completed the program in September I am now more in tune with my physical health than I have been for decades. I personally wouldn't have undertaken such a significant program without being coached through the process and I'm incredibly grateful to Leslie and Aaron for the superb program and support. Vitally this program is a re-education and could revolutionize the whole weightloss industry. It does require self-responsibility, but if you're up to the task you will have a renewed relationship with your body and yourself.

Cura Romana has been a journey of transformation on many levels. I lost 31 pounds, three dress sizes, and accessed a level of energy I never dreamed possible. But more importantly for me, I have reconnected with a part of me that had been buried - the part of me that is childlike, full of joy and sparkle and sheer life! I feel grounded in my body, clear in my mind and connected in my spirit. I know that I have been on far more than a weightloss program. I have been on a journey back to my authentic self. I can never thank Leslie & Aaron enough for the wise counsel, excellent suggestions, and nurturing spirit.

Cura Romana has provided much more than I initially expected. At first I thought this looked like just a weightloss program. I needed to lose weight I could not budge. Instead it has provided a greater insight into me. Cura Romana has set me up for the rest of my life. This is not a quick fix but a sustained burn for living. With the help and support of Leslie and Aaron I am seeing clearly the woman I have always wanted to be but somehow I had lost touch with along the way.

Before beginning Cura Romana I felt very excited, confident and full of anticipation over what was to come. I knew without doubt that the program would work for me and I was very eager to start. I'd recently concluded that I needed to nurture myself and this was my gift to me, to enable me to find 'the old me' that I had lost contact with over recent years. On the program I lost 22.6 pounds and by the end I discovered I actually liked myself again. I feel such self-respect for what I have achieved in restoring my body to its former extremely fit and healthy state. I have a stronger sense of being grounded and living fully my life and a greatly improved self-confidence.

I have also completed the program under Leslie's & Aaron's supervision and if you follow the methodology correctly it's a painless and effective way of losing weight in all the right places. At the same time I gained energy, a new understanding of what foods are right for me and what aren't, and a new appreciation of my body! Whilst eating much less than usual, with the Essential Spray I never felt hungry! It requires discipline but it works! And the effects are immediate and long term. And there were no negative side effects! I am not a diet person but this program felt right and I was amazed by the results. Leslie Kenton is a writer I trust - I have been inspired by her books for more than 20 years now. She explains quite touchingly that she has had issues around her weight since medical procedures in her teens left her with a faulty metabolism. She doesn't pretend to be a physician or a guru, but a fearlessly investigative journalist who needs help herself, so she explores the best options for health and weightloss and then writes a book about it for the rest of us. In "Cura Romana" she has found an amazing tool in the work of Dr Arthur Simeons who after many years of clinical research decided that the tendency to obesity was the product of a faulty system rather than just the result of gluttony, and worked out a program to cure it. What Leslie has done is synthesize this method, expand and bring it up to date, and, most importantly, hone the method for keeping the weight off for life. (Always the depressing issue for those of us who have yo-yo dieted for most of their adult lives.) I think this book is brilliant. The system works on everyone - me, in my 60s, now wearing size 14 jeans for the first time in 30 years, (gosh its great not to have to describe myself as a fat person anymore!) my husband, who was highly skeptical - a friend in our village who lost 2 stone in 42 days and looks wonderful, and her 30 year old son who did the same thing. Leslie Kenton's Cura Romana is much more than a diet book - it's a genuine tool for personal transformation. I'm only sorry her publisher puts a quote about it being a "craze" - it's far more important and profound than that. PS. How I wish it had been available 30 years ago!

Before beginning my Cura Romana Journey I was excited but not daring to hope that it would really work for me personally. I could see from the experience of others that it was genuinely effective but, of course, being at the time a pessimist, I was just bound to be the exception that proved the rule wasn't true. Still, I was hopeful enough that I was going to give it a go. In the end I lost 14 kilos. I can't recommend Cura Romana too much. It really is life-changing in so many ways. It represents freedom and the re-discovery of joy. It is a positive and very practical way to re-integrate ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually. I believe so much damage is caused by poor advice, miss-messages and commercial exploitation. Cura Romana should be on offer in every GP's surgery and Well Woman clinic in the land. The word WILL spread!

There are so many things that I have taken away from my Cura Romana experience. Improved health, I feel and look so much better. Improved hormonal balance, all my menopausal symptoms have completely disappeared. And I have a greater sense of self-worth and am much less willing to make compromises. I discovered the nature of my true body size and shape and I actually like it now for the first time in my life. I have more vitality, I have a much higher level of self-confidence, I have much greater self-respect, I put myself first now. I only eat or do what's good for me and that is very empowering. I have a greater appreciation and willingness to honor my body's natural rhythms of dynamism and receptivity. If I am tired I sleep or rest now. I no longer run myself into the ground to achieve too much or please other people. I have a greater sense of my spirit being grounded in my body. I think the Cura Romana program works because Leslie & Aaron have integrated all of the different aspects of health, personal beliefs and expertise into one, holistic method which is why it benefits people so dramatically on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Cura Romana has now become a way of life for me. I consider this experience to be one of my life's greatest gifts.

This program is fantastic. I have been frightened to attempt weight loss in the past as I feared failing at it. I thought that Cura Romana seemed too good to be true but I'm so glad I followed the pull to do it. The program was easy to follow, incredibly effective, and with my new-found knowledge of the way my body works I continued to lose weight even throughout Consolidation. I loved the Consolidation program, the materials were fantastic and I refer to them on a regular basis. The recipes are great, especially the ones for linseed crackers which were a lifesaver. I still make them. My scales have now become my friends, after avoiding them the whole of my adult life. Leslie's support and all the resources she provided me with have been invaluable. I say 'go for it!'

Before I began Cura Romana the theory behind this diet made complete sense to me - it made me realize that all the failures that I'd experienced in the past with dieting were probably not my fault, and this was a huge relief. Once I had spoken to Leslie & Aaron I was totally convinced that this was the only way that I could achieve lasting weightloss. Not for one moment did I think the program would not work and I was really excited and couldn't wait to get started.

the first time I went on it I lost 9 kilos as I was quite overweight after a second child at 40. I have managed to keep my weight within reasonable levels since. I have eliminated a skin condition on my arms over the years due to using it. I recently was feeling awful after getting covid twice followed by influenza. I was exhausted and catching illness easily. I also put on weight. The Doctor said I have long covid. I went on the sprays for 2 weeks and have felt better than I had since early June, and feel like I'm well again. I've always noted the difference in my mental clarity and feeling happier and have more energy on the program.

Your body goes through a significant amount of change in the first few days. I had a slight feeling of fuzziness, a bit like jet lag, in those first couple of days. I had no headaches which may be because I cut back on coffee and eliminated alcohol about a week before I started. After the first week I had heaps of energy and was really relaxed and focused. I became very calm, clear-thinking and happy with my life.

I am very happy with where Cura Romana has brought me now and with all the support given by Aaron & Leslie. I have noticed many benefits such as: increased energy; more focus; feeling healthier, and protected from picking up the sicknesses going around the office. I have better moods, I am more positive and less grumpy, I have better sleep and far more control over food which I now can choose to eat or not to eat. It has been an interesting ride.

I really do feel so well and if it's possible I think as each day passes I feel even better. Everything about me feels different, I was saying to myself I haven't felt this well since..... And I couldn't put a time on it because to be honest I have never felt like this. I've never felt so good in my body even when I thought I was well! And due to traumas in my life from an early age and right through my childhood, I totally disconnected from myself, feeling the weight of it in every aspect of my being never really experiencing my true nature until now. I completed the diet under the Kenton's supervision about 20 months ago. After cortisone treatment for asthma about ten years ago, I gained some 30 pounds, and despite various diets was unable to lose the last fifteeen. With Cura Romana I shed those persistent pounds effortlessly. More importantly, I have kept them off without being 'on a diet'. My body has truly and remarkably changed to the extent that food cravings are gone and I eat healthy foods in smaller amounts, because that satisfies my appetite, and that is what I now enjoy. In the past, I suffered fibromyalgia and other aches and pains. These are all gone. My system is so sensitized, that when I eat something not good for me I get immediate symptoms. This makes it easy to recognize and avoid such foods, not because I'm on a diet but because I know they don't agree with me. My digestive problems are also past history. I have not only lost weight, but I lost inches in precisely the places where they were unattractive. For the first time in my life I don't shrink from seeing myself in a mirror. The positive side effects of this diet were sufficiently profound, that I would agree with the reviewer who called it transformational. I am firmly convinced that the Kenton's guidance throughout the entire process was critical to the results I achieved. The daily reporting, the comments, encouragement and answers to any questions I had were not only motivational but also allowed me to understand more deeply the feedback my body was giving me. I cannot recommend more highly taking advantage of the mentorship.

I definitely feel Cura Romana is different than any other weightloss protocol. My enthusiasm, vitality and creativity has increased immeasurably. I am enjoying life more, I am more organized, I thought that a part of my life had died when I reached menopause, and now I have regained my life. I feel alive again.

On the program my skin was great. I had no adverse reactions except some initial tiredness. The hunger was never really an issue. My flow of physical energy was very good throughout. It was a time when I needed to work 13 hours a day with lots of physical work and I was fine. Occasionally I was hungry in a desiring way, but not as a sensation of lack of food. Emotionally I became very clear, not emotionally reactive, and I had an enhanced, clear perception of what my feelings were. Spiritually, because I had less to deal with physically and emotionally, I experienced a greater involvement in and gratitude for the present moment.

How do I feel in myself? God damned fantastic! Layers of dross seem to be peeling off me at every level. So I feel lighter, in almost every way. I am full of hope and optimism that the future is packed with new things just over the horizon and I feel that I am focused more on what is good about my life than what is missing from it, as I used to be. Occasionally this feeling verges on euphoria. Rest assured, however, my feet are firmly on the ground.
